Along the way he placed his trust in people who ultimately abandoned him, discovering through painful experience that not everyone who calls themselves family truly understands the meaning of the word.

Everything changed when he encountered a woman who welcomed him not for what he could offer, but simply for who he was. She gave him the home he had always searched for, teaching him discipline, leadership, compassion, and the responsibility that comes with protecting others.
