Overview

Long after Lavínia became the Eternal Source, the First Vampire and fountain of all blood within DawnDream, she found herself burdened by eternity. Though she had transcended mortality, memories of her former life endured. Among those memories were her sisters, Nestis and Lyri.

When humanity was cast from Eden, Lavínia sought them beyond the Garden and revealed truths hidden from mankind. She spoke of the Crimson Tree, the Fallen Seraph, and the First Blood that had transformed her into something immortal. Unlike others, neither sister recoiled from these revelations. When offered the same gift, both accepted willingly.

Nestis, the Second Sentinel

Nestis was the second of Lavínia's sisters to accept the gift of the First Blood.

Fearless and unwavering, she embraced death without hesitation. For days her body remained still beneath the night sky until she finally awakened, transformed into something greater than mortal. Through her rebirth she became the Second Sentinel, chosen by the Eternal Source to stand beside her sister Yana in service to the Eternal Throne.

Throughout the ages, Nestis became known as the embodiment of vigilance, loyalty, and unwavering devotion. Watchful where others faltered and steadfast where others wavered, she became one of the Eternal Source's most trusted guardians.

Together with Velkarion Yana and Sentinel Lyri, she carries the will of Lavínia across the ages, safeguarding the order of the Eternal Realm and preserving the vision of the Eternal Throne.

Lyri, the Third Sentinel

The last of the sisters to embrace the First Blood, Lyri accepted eternity with the same courage that had always defined her mortal life.

She crossed the boundary between life and death willingly, emerging reborn beneath the eternal night. Through this transformation, she became the Third Sentinel, forever bound to the Eternal Source and her chosen sisters.

Known throughout the ages for her strength, leadership, and unwavering spirit, Lyri became a beacon around which many of the children of the night would rally. Where Nestis embodied vigilance, Lyri embodied resolve.

Together with Velkarion Yana and Sentinel Nestis, she remains one of the oldest and most trusted servants of the Eternal Throne, carrying the will of Lavínia into every age.

The Chosen of the First Blood

Yana, Nestis, and Lyri were not merely embraced vampires. They were the first chosen of the Eternal Source, transformed directly through the First Blood itself and elevated above all who would come after them.

As Lavínia's power grew beyond mortal understanding, her chosen sisters remained at her side. They became her eyes where she did not watch, her voice where she did not speak, and her judgment where she did not appear.

Yana, the First Sentinel, would eventually ascend to the unique title of Velkarion, becoming the supreme leader of the Sentinels and the foremost voice of the Eternal Throne. Nestis and Lyri remained among her most trusted guardians, carrying the will of the Eternal Source across the ages.

No vampires stand closer to the Eternal Source than Velkarion Yana, Sentinel Nestis, and Sentinel Lyri. Together they form the oldest and most honored servants of the Eternal Throne.

Legacy

To this day, the title of Sentinel remains one of the highest honors within DawnDream. It represents loyalty, duty, sacrifice, and service to the Eternal Throne.

Through Nestis and Lyri, the will of the Eternal Source endures.

Through them, her dominion remains secure.

Through them, the night continues beneath the eternal gaze of the First Vampire.
