Overview

The Tzimisce are among the oldest and most feared bloodlines within the Eternal Throne. Descended from the legendary Antediluvian known as The Eldest, they trace their origins to the ancient Carpathian Mountains of Eastern Europe, where they ruled as immortal lords over vast territories for centuries.

Unlike bloodlines that seek power through wealth, influence, or conquest alone, the Tzimisce pursue mastery through transformation. They view flesh as clay, the body as an unfinished creation, and existence itself as a journey toward perfection. Through discipline, experimentation, and relentless self-evolution, they seek to transcend both mortal and vampiric limitations.

Their earliest history is inseparable from the dark mysteries of the Carpathians and the ancient force known as Kupala, an earthbound demon whose influence shaped much of their sorcery, occult practices, and understanding of transformation. Though feared by outsiders, the Tzimisce see themselves not as monsters, but as visionaries, scholars, and artisans of evolution.

Origins

The founder of the bloodline was the Antediluvian known simply as The Eldest, one of the ancient Third Generation vampires. Choosing Eastern Europe as his domain, he established the foundations of what would become one of the most infamous bloodlines in existence.

The bloodline's roots lie deep within the Carpathian Mountains, where the Tzimisce ruled over mortal populations as god-like boyars. For millennia they shaped both their lands and their subjects according to their will, treating their domains as extensions of their own being.

Their early development became deeply intertwined with the ancient entity known as Kupala. Through this connection they gained access to dark occult mysteries, blood magic, and philosophies centered around transformation, adaptation, and transcendence. From these beginnings emerged a culture unlike any other—one that viewed flesh not as sacred, but as a medium through which perfection could be achieved.

Long ago they abandoned the limitations of the human condition, dedicating themselves instead to the pursuit of perfection through knowledge, transformation, and mastery over flesh.

For more than two thousand years, the blood of the Tzimisce has endured. Their philosophy teaches that the human body is merely a starting point—an imperfect vessel waiting to be reshaped into something greater. What others call monstrosity, the Tzimisce call art. What others call cruelty, they call necessary evolution.
