The official glossary of terms, relics, titles, and traditions of DawnDream.

A

Amrita — A rare mystical resource earned daily. Four days are required to form one complete Amrita. It is used in Embracings, rituals, relics, and various systems throughout the realm.

Amrita Reliquary — A relic merchant located within DawnDream lands where Amritas may be acquired.

Arch Vampire — The supreme leader of a Bloodline, an ancient figure whose blood and authority shape the clans sworn beneath their lineage.

B

Bed Stone — A sacred stone bed used by Lycans to rest beneath the moon's blessing. By accumulating 30 hours of rest within a 7-day period, a Lycan is rewarded with 2 additional days of age.

Bloodline — Ancient vampiric lineages that serve as the foundation of the great clans of DawnDream. Each Bloodline is guided by an Arch Vampire and their Blood Guardians.

Bloodsworn Book — A sacred tome used to bind members to a House through a blood oath.

Blood Vow — The sacred marriage ritual between two members of the realm.

Blue Tank — A vessel used by Lycans to store, withdraw, and transfer Vitality.

C

Clan — The primary political and military organization of vampires. Clans unite Houses beneath a common Bloodline and banner.

Chrono Blood Relic — A relic that accelerates the vampiric transformation process.

Chrono Moon Crystal — A relic that accelerates the Lycan transformation process.

Coffin — An ancient resting vessel where Vampires withdraw from the world and embrace the stillness of the eternal night. Through 30 hours of rest within a 7-day period, the vampire's age deepens, granting 2 additional days of age

D

Death Penalty — The punishment for death within DawnDream. Upon death, all carried Amrita and Velarium are lost and may be claimed by the killer.

Death Marks — A dark relic that rewards those who hunt and slay humans bearing the Mark of Death.

Dead Human Penalty — The blood of the dead carries the stain of death itself. Vampires who feed upon a deceased human suffer an immediate loss of 2 liters of blood. For the starving and the careless, such a mistake may become a death sentence.

F

Ferocity — The primal energy consumed by Lycans to fuel supernatural abilities.

First Hunt Altar — The altar used to complete the final stage of Lycan transformation.

H

House — A noble vampiric family operating within a Clan.

Horde — Independent rebel factions that reject the authority of the Eternal Throne and stand outside the laws of the realm.

HUD Delivery Chest — A delivery chest used to receive and update the official Vampire HUD.

I

Imperial Vault — A secure vault used to store Amritas and Velariums.

M

Magistrate — Trusted assistants of the Sentinels who perform duties throughout the realm.

Masquerade — The sacred law of secrecy that protects the hidden existence of the creatures of DawnDream.

Mindbreaker — A powerful vampiric ability allowing domination of another creature's mind.

Moon Watch Stone — A relic allowing Lycans to monitor moon-bound Lycans.

P

Pack — A Lycan family operating within a Clan.

Primal Bond Stone — A relic capable of altering a Lycan's progenitor and bloodline connections.

R

Rebirth Stone — An ancient stone used by vampires to change their sire.

Red Tank Top 10 — A commemorative statue displaying the ten vampires who have contributed the most blood to the Red Tank.

Rite of Velarium — A sacred chalice that converts Velariums into additional days of age.

S

Sanctum Stone — A protective relic that prevents attacks within its territory.

Sentinel — Ancient vampires who carry the Eternal Blood and stand as the brothers and sisters of the Eternal Source, serving as guardians of the Eternal Throne.

Sentinel Hands — Trusted aides of the Sentinels who assist in the administration, guidance, and support of DawnDream.

Slain Human Pillar — A monument displaying the vampires and lycans who have slain the greatest number of humans.

T

Torpor — A deep state of vampiric hibernation that grants rewards over time.

U

Umbra Fontis — The right hand of the Eternal Source and one of the highest honors within DawnDream.

V

Velarium — A valuable resource harvested from Solomonic humans and exchanged for age.

Velkarion — A chosen sister of the Eternal Source, entrusted to serve as her trusted counselor and the voice of the Eternal Throne.

Vigil Stone — A relic allowing vampires to monitor other vampires bound to their blood.

Vitality — The life force that sustains Lycans.

Wolf Totem — The relic used to deliver and update the Lycan HUD.
