Origins

The founder of the bloodline was the Antediluvian known simply as The Eldest, one of the legendary Third Generation vampires. Choosing the Carpathian Mountains as his domain, he shaped the foundations of what would become one of the most feared bloodlines in existence.

For millennia the Tzimisce ruled Eastern Europe as immortal boyars, commanding vast territories and treating the lands they governed as extensions of their own souls. To a Tzimisce, ownership is sacred. Territory is not merely land; it is identity.

Their early development was heavily influenced by Kupala, an ancient earthbound demon whose power permeated the Carpathian wilderness. The Tzimisce are scholars and flesh-shapers. To call a Tzimisce inhuman is not an insult but an observation they often embrace.
