Overview

The Darkheart Obsidian Order is a bloodline built not upon a single race, but upon the belief that those who have been rejected, misunderstood, or cast aside can become stronger together. What began as a sanctuary for society's outcasts grew into a family beneath the Veil, welcoming vampires, lycans, witches, and other supernatural beings without requiring them to abandon who they are. Their strength lies not in blood alone, but in the bonds forged between those who were once divided by it.

At the heart of the Order is the belief that family is chosen, strength is shared, and differences are what make them formidable. Every member is expected to protect the family, guard the Veil, share knowledge, and help those beside them grow stronger.

History

The history of the Darkheart Obsidian Order began with a woman who turned her back on high society to open her home to those it had forgotten—the abused, the rejected, the misunderstood, and those who simply had nowhere else to belong. Her sanctuary became a place where the unwanted could find protection, and over time, a family began to form around those shared ideals.

That family nearly ended when she was attacked and left for dead by Jack the Ripper. A vampire found her and chose to save her, giving her the chance to continue the work she had begun. Rather than allowing that second chance to belong to her alone, she extended the protection she had been given to others, opening the family to those who lived beyond the human world and behind the Veil.

As years became decades and decades became centuries, the family continued to grow. Vampires, lycans, witches, and other supernatural races found refuge among its members, each bringing their own strengths, knowledge, traditions, and abilities.

What began as one home became a network of houses where members could seek sanctuary, learn from one another, train together, and prepare to protect the family that had taken them in.

With every new member came another bond, another protector, and another piece of knowledge added to the growing legacy. The Order learned that its greatest defense was never a single race, warrior, or supernatural gift. Its true strength came from the willingness of its people to stand between danger and those they called family.

Across centuries and vast oceans, the Darkheart Obsidian Order grew from a single sanctuary into a united supernatural family dedicated to protecting its own and guarding the Veil.

Those who entered as strangers became allies. Allies became family. And family became the shield that generations would inherit.
