Overview
Eternal Source Lav is regarded as the origin of all vampiric existence within DawnDream. Known simply as The Eternal Source, she is believed to be the first being to carry the curse and gift of vampirism, becoming the progenitor from whom all Bloodlines ultimately descend.
Her existence predates the earliest legends of humanity, and her true age is beyond mortal comprehension.
The First Hunger
According to ancient chronicles, Lavínia was a forgotten daughter of Adam and Eve who lived within the Garden of Eden before mankind's fall.
Driven by curiosity, she wandered beyond the familiar paths of the Garden and discovered a forbidden crimson tree said to have grown from the blood of a fallen seraph. Drawn to its fruit, she consumed it and died.
Moved by compassion, the fallen seraph appeared before her lifeless body and offered her his own corrupted celestial blood. What followed was not a resurrection, but a transformation.
Lavínia awoke as something entirely new — neither mortal nor angel, but the first creature of eternal hunger.
Legacy
From the Eternal Source came the origin of every vampiric Bloodline. Though countless generations separate modern vampires from her, all traces of vampiric blood are believed to carry an echo of her transformation.
Ancient texts claim that her blood remains pure and undiluted, carrying both the essence of the forbidden fruit and the corrupted divinity of the fallen seraph.
The Eternal Source
Whether she still walks the realms of DawnDream or has ascended into something greater remains unknown.
Some believe she wanders the world unseen.
Others worship her as a dark divinity.
Yet all Bloodlines agree upon a single truth:
Every vampire owes their existence to the Eternal Source.
