The Eternal Throne

"From the Throne flows law. From blood comes loyalty. From the Eternal Source comes all."

Overview

The Eternal Throne is the highest authority within the vampiric realms of DawnDream. It is from this ancient seat of power that the Eternal Source Lav watches over the realm, preserves its laws, and guides the destiny of all Bloodlines.

Unlike mortal kingdoms, the Eternal Throne is not merely a government. It is the spiritual, political, and historical center of vampiric existence. Every Bloodline, Clan, House, and vampire traces its origins back to the Eternal Source and the First Blood from which all vampiric lineage descends.

The Eternal Source

At the center of the Throne sits Eternal Source Lav, the first vampire and origin of all Bloodlines.

For countless ages she has remained the supreme authority of the realm, serving as both ruler and guardian of the ancient traditions that bind vampire society together. Her laws shape the structure of the realm, and her judgment stands above all others.

The Loyal Bloodlines

The great Bloodlines form the foundation of vampiric society. Each Bloodline is led by an Arch Vampire and serves as a pillar supporting the Eternal Throne.

Beneath the Bloodlines stand the Clans, Houses, and countless vampires who have sworn loyalty to the ancient order established by the Eternal Source.

Though rivalries and conflicts exist between them, they remain bound by the same laws and traditions.

Clans

Clans are the primary political and military organizations of vampire society. Each Clan is led by a High Commander and exists beneath the authority of a Bloodline. Through war, diplomacy, and loyalty, the Clans help maintain the stability and influence of the Eternal Throne throughout the realm.

All recognized Clans are considered loyal subjects of the Throne.

Houses

Houses are smaller vampiric families that exist within the greater structure of a Clan. Through blood oaths and lineage, Houses strengthen the bonds that unite the realm and provide a sense of family among vampires.

Hordes

Not all vampires accept the authority of the Eternal Throne. Some reject its laws, traditions, and hierarchy entirely. These rebels gather within organizations known as Hordes.

Hordes recognize no Bloodline authority and owe no loyalty to the Throne. They stand outside the established order and are often viewed as dissidents, agitators, or enemies of the realm. Though they share the same origin as all vampires, they have chosen the path of rebellion over loyalty.

Outcasts

Some vampires belong neither to Clans nor to Hordes. These solitary wanderers are known as Outcasts.

Outcasts possess no allegiance, hold no political standing, and operate entirely outside the authority of the Eternal Throne. Some seek isolation, while others simply refuse to serve any cause beyond their own. Though tolerated, they are often viewed with suspicion by both loyalists and rebels alike.

The Eternal Court

The Eternal Source is not alone in governing the realm.

Among those who stand closest to the Throne are:

  • Velkarion Yana — Voice of the Eternal Throne and Herald of the Eternal Source.
  • Umbra Fontis Wodan — Shadow of the Source, First Alpha of the Lunar Bloodline, and trusted counselor of the Crown.
  • The Sentinels — Guardians of the Eternal Throne and protectors of the realm.
  • The Sentinel Hands — Trusted assistants who serve beneath the Sentinels and help support the realm.
  • The Magistrates — Servants of the Court who assist in maintaining order throughout DawnDream.

The Balance of Blood

For countless centuries, the Eternal Throne has stood as the center of vampiric civilization. Clans build kingdoms beneath its laws. Bloodlines preserve ancient traditions beneath its authority.

Hordes challenge it.Outcasts ignore it. Yet whether through loyalty, rebellion, or isolation, every vampire remains connected to the same origin. For all blood begins with the Eternal Source.
